New Patients
We want to send a warm welcome to all new patients of Whitinsville Family Dentistry! When you arrive, we hope that you feel comfortable making use of our amenities and take the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Before your appointment, it is important that you take a few moments to briefly review the documentation you’ll need as part of your new patient visit. Below, you can find details on what to expect when you arrive and essential forms to complete, whether you’re an adult or child in need of care.
Your First Visit
During your initial visit, you can expect to spend about two hours with our assistant and one of our experienced dentists. During the first hour, you’ll get a chance to speak with one of our dental assistants. Afterward, we’ll capture photos and X-rays in order to gauge your current oral health status. During the second hour, you’ll speak with the dentist directly and discuss your smile goals. By the end of your appointment, we’ll have a clear understanding of the treatments necessary to get your smile looking the way you envisioned.
New Patient Forms
We understand that all patients have very busy schedules to attend to, which is why we’ve chosen to make the new patient process as accommodating as possible. Once you have contacted our dental office and scheduled your first appointment, we encourage you to fill out your forms prior to arriving. This way, we can get you checked in more quickly and complete your appointment sooner. We have distinguished adult and child forms because we understand that adult dental care needs often differ from the needs of your child.

Dental Insurance
We accept most major credit cards and we are unrestricted providers of most dental insurances. This means we are happy to submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf, however, we have no network contracts with insurance companies that limit your choices to treatment. For our patients and families with no dental insurance, and who are looking for balance and savings in their oral health expenses, we do offer QDP – Quality Dental Plan (details below) in our dental office.
For our patients with extensive treatment goals and needs beyond the scope of dental insurance, our team will work with you to evaluate 3rd party financing options or discuss ways to phase your treatment at a pace that fits your financial needs.
As long as your insurance allows you to choose your own dentist, we can work with them. Even though we are not in-network with any insurance plans, most plans allow you the option to choose your own provider meaning you can use the coverage wherever you wish! We also work with Delta Dental of Massachusetts and Blue Cross Blue Shield, however, these two companies choose to reimburse the patient directly by check after treatment – meaning clients with these two insurance plans may have to pay more upfront and get reimbursed later. (It’s a hassle intentionally caused by both Delta and BCBS, but let us show you why our team and our dentistry is still worth that hassle.)
Give the office a call and we would be happy to look into your dental insurance and review how it would work at our office.
In-House Savings Plan
Did you know that we are now offering an in-house dental savings plan right here in our dental office – for both new and existing patients? We understand that traditional dental insurance premiums are expensive and that insurance benefits are extremely limited on most plans. The good news is that when you enroll in our in-house savings plan, some of your preventive care (including cleanings, annual x-rays, and annual exam) is 100% covered in our dental office – and you’ll also receive exclusive benefits on restorative care, like fillings, crowns, and implants…even cosmetic dentistry!
We know that paying out of pocket can be expensive, so we’ve developed this savings plan to give our patients who do not have insurance benefits, the kind of dental benefits they want and need. Now you can afford dentistry – and you can have the smile you’ve always wanted. Ask us today about our in-house savings plan and how it can help make taking care of your smile affordable for you and your whole family!
Financing Available
Those who do not utilize dental insurance or need additional help paying for an extensive treatment can find solace in third-party financing programs like Alphaeon, Care Credit, and Lending Club. Once approved, you’ll be able to pay for dental treatments in more manageable chunks at a monthly rate. In most cases, these payments come with little to zero interest attached. It’s the perfect way to cover costs in a way that meets your need.

Anxiety Relief for Nervous Patients
We want to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible whenever you’re in our dental office. Why? Because dental anxiety stands between far too many people and the dental care they need to stay healthy, and your oral health is very important to us. Our anxiety relief offerings are part of our commitment to providing you with complete dental care.
